His Excellency, Deputy Minister for Fishery Resources; Engineer Ahmed Al-Eiadh headed a meeting with members of algae production roadmap   in Saudi Arabia including number of experts from Fish Resources Agency, Saudi Aquaculture Society and different academic and private agencies. 
The meeting was held to discuss submitted by the ministry's consultant with regard to the future of algae production in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 
The subject of producing and culturing algae in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia gained a great attention due to the appropriate climatic conditions in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as  the importance of using algae in fish feed in the future. This will contribute greatly in reducing the cost of fish feed which is considered the most costly operational sector in aquaculture projects.
