This achievement has been realized after three years passed by the company in the concentrated research to produce and hatch these important sea creatures whether from the economic aspects, due to their high prices and markets opened in the world or from the sustainable environment aspects, because this creature is one of the creatures that maintain the environment, filtrate the water and improve the quality thereof.

The news has resonates widely among the interested persons and it is deemed as a great leap toward verifying the income source and producing sea creatures distinguished with economic features and high environment at the same time.

The importance of this achievement is promoted by the fact that sea cucumber that has been produced is from the local natural environment of Red Sea. In a release, yesterday, CEO of National Prawn Company and SAS Chairman Eng. Ahmed Al Bala' stated that a specialized team in the company has succeeded after about three years of research, attempts and experiments to achieve a complete cycle of sea cucumber. Thereby, the company has guaranteed the continuity of farming this animal as one of the most important sea creatures that participate in creating an environmental balance and sustainable development of the sea life and provide food wealth. He has expected that the capacity will reach 90 tons from sea cucumber during the first year of production commencement.

He added that sea cucumber plays an important positive role for the environment, because it turns the bottom soil searching for its food and this leads to cleaning the sea bottom. One animal of sea cucumber can purify four tons of the bottom sands annually. Therefore, it is environmentally important, because it removes the organic deposits from the bottom and participates in keeping the bottom soil flexible, nonsolid and away from the rottenness. Moreover, sea cucumber maintains the creature of balance in water PH and participates in separating the oil components spread and suspended in water
