Business Diwaniya Program Sheds Light on Investment Opportunities of Aquaculture Sector in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Aquaculture was the topic of Business Diwaniya episode on Tuesday 24th November 2015 on Eqtisadiya TV channel of Saudi television. The program hosted Director General of Aquaculture Management in Ministry of Agriculture Eng. Ahmed Al-Eiyadah and Eng. Ahmed Rashid Al-Balaa; Chairman of Board of Directories of Saudi Aquaculture Society, Mr. jabber Mohammed Al-Sehli, investor of Sea Resources Co., and Mr. Hossam Qadi, Vice President of Arasco. 
This episode came in harmony with the serious efforts done by officials of the sector whether from Ministry of Agriculture or Saudi Aquaculture Society aiming to introduce the importance of the sector and its developing role in economy and development as well as educating investors about the relative merits provided by the sector to encourage more investments in this field. 
These efforts were crowned by the sublime approval of Council of Ministers dated September 8th 2015 to set up the National Program to Develop Aquaculture Sector in Saudi Arabia. The program promises to develop the sector and enhance its role through converting it into an effective industry in the national economy contributing to support the state's efforts through providing food security and achieving self-sufficiency of sea products via targeting 600 thousand tons production annually and providing thousands of job opportunities for Saudi youth.
