Ministry of Agriculture seeks to attract investment in the aquaculture sector to increase production during the coming ten years to 600 thousand tons. Thanks to the deterioration of capital costs, compared to other industries, new investors were encouraged to enter the field as well as providing more job opportunities. 
The work sheep submitted by Eng. Ahmed Bin Saleh Aleiadah, Director General of Fish Farms and Eng. Ahmed Rashid Albalaa Chairman of Saudi Aquaculture Society within the participation of Ministry of Agriculture and Saudi Aquaculture Society in the events of the committee related to aquaculture held in Brasilia, Brazil during the period 5-9 October 2015, shed light on the Saudi success in the joint works between public and private sectors in aquaculture field being an international experience to be utilized.  
The worksheet aspects tackled the ideal methods of cooperation between the sectors including Biosecurity Committee which was established four years ago and headed by the Undersecretary for Fish Resources Affairs and membership of producers from private sector. Biosecurity Committee proposed several recommendations which helped develop biosecurity and aquatic life in aquaculture projects. 
In addition, the worksheet discussed the relative merits supporting aquaculture projects in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia such as length of coasts and lands suitable for aquaculture in the floating cages as of the most prominent means FAO suggests their role in bridging the food gap around the world. 
Both engineers; Aleiadah and Albalaa, assured that aquaculture is the most significant means to achieve food security and provide healthy safe food. They also stated the attitude towards increasing individual's consumption of fish to the international rate; 22 kg per capital annually. 
Furthermore, the industries branching from aquaculture projects suit female element such as food industries forming 30% of total workforce in such industries. This also shall limit migration from coastal regions as well as utilizing the complementary industries of aquaculture to provide job opportunities, support economy, and benefit from availability of experience in this field.
